Plants Past, Present and Future Artist in Residence Application

I’m an English and Welsh visual artist, writer, researcher and musician based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Under the moniker Woman with Plants, I explore interspecies relationships, focussing on the botanical heritage of Cymru, highlighting forgotten Welsh nomenclature to foster deeper understandings of longstanding plant-perspectives in Wales. 

My work is interdisciplinary, featuring photography, video, text, audio and mixed media prints and collage. I have a diverse creative history that illustrates my love of making things and engaging with different life forms (including people), spanning art, craft, product design and music, as well as academic research and jobs concerning the welfare of social - economic - ecological systems.
